Detailed Person Requirements

  • Have a Clean UK Driving license and be professional in appearance at all times.

About the job
Aqua Platinum Service are looking for a senior service engineer who is keen to grow with the company and enjoy the challenge of working on high-end pools and wet leisure areas for both residential and commercial clients, mainly in London and surrounding areas.

Tasks will including service and maintenance, fault finding, refurbishment and installation, reporting directly to the Service Manager.

Your duties will include:
  • Carry out pool/spa and plant room service and maintenance.
  • Carry out pool and plant room installation and repair.
  • Be able to work from a set of drawings and ensure all materials are organised for installation within the project time frame.
  • Must have a minimum 5 year’s previous experience in pool and plant room maintenance and installation.
  • Must have thorough understanding of all swimming pool equipment including pumps, filters, pipe work, automatic dosing and uv/ozone water treatment units.
  • Experience of cover installations/service and knowledge of environmental units would also be an advantage but not essential.
  • Good understanding of electrical systems.
  • ISPE would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Full Driving License required.

This role will involve travel to site mainly in central London but also possibly other sites throughout the UK.

SENIOR SWIMMING POOL ENGINEER REQUIRED
Based in Danbury, Essex, National Pool Company is a family run business which is expanding and we would love to welcome the right candidate to our team.

As a Senior Swimming Pool Engineer, you will be required to carry out service and maintenance on all our commercial and domestic pool projects located across London, Essex and the home counties.

The successful applicant will carry out work on chemical dosing, filter and pump works, plant room installs and plumbing of plant rooms. Attending break down call outs, steam and sauna maintenance, and all other aspects of the role of a swimming pool engineer are also involved.

Salary for this role is £32,000-£36,000pa based on a permanent full time contract working 8-10 hours per day. The successful candidate will also receive 20 days holiday plus the bank holidays off. Overtime is also available with this role.
