SWIMMING POOL ENGINEERS REQUIRED
Based near Bristol, HTP Group is a family run business which is expanding and we would love to welcome the right candidates to our growing team.

The successful applicant will carry out work on chemical dosing, filter and pump works, plant room installations including pipe works, pool and spa service contracts, pool installations, fault finding, repairing and replacing equipment, and assisting with pool refurbishment.

The ideal candidate must be able to work alone, as well as part of a team, and use their own initiative, becoming a valued member of our team working mainly across the south west of England with some national projects and occasional overnight stays.

Applicants must have a full, clean driving licence, with a minimum of 2 years driving experience, and be competent to drive company vehicles.

You will be willing to learn new skills, and understand requirements within our industry. You will be trustworthy, well presented, polite and articulate, and have pride in your role.

You will be fit and healthy, as some aspects of the role will require lifting, and carrying.

The candidate needs to be a good communicator at all levels, and have the ability to deal professionally with clients, and provide a high level of customer service.

The successful candidate will receive 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays with full company uniform, PPE kit, company van and company phone, plus company healthcare scheme.

Salary £32,000 - £38,000 based on experience.

ON-SITE LINING INSTALLER REQUIRED
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly successful swimming pool manufacturer and distributor to work in our Extreme On-Site Lining Department.

We are looking for an experienced installer to work across the UK installing our reinforced on-site lining system.

You must be prepared to work outside in all weathers and stay away from home during the working week.

The ideal candidate will have experience of installing on-site lining systems, be dedicated, self-starting, dextrous, have a good eye for detail and able to work under pressure. Some heavy lifting is involved.

Requirements:
A sound knowledge and practical experience in a similar role, ideally 5+ years of experience in the swimming pool industry with the ability to take projects from first fix through to installation of complicated plant room filtration equipment. A flexible, pro-active approach with a customer focused outlook with the confidence to work alone and as part of a team.

Due to expansion, we are looking to appoint an additional person to help with our trade installation service for automatic swimming pool covers and associated items.

This is a full-time permanent position which is site-based and involves daily travel and occasional overnight stays across the UK & Ireland.

The successful applicant should be prepared to work on both indoor and outdoor construction sites throughout the year.

An ability to work as part of a small team is key, along with a flexible ‘can do’ attitude. Experience from within the pool industry is essential although full product training will be provided.

An opportunity has become available for a Sales Representative to work for the largest swimming pool manufacturer in the world.

Working for Desjoyaux Pools, the successful applicant will be working out of the Guildford head office.

This is a customer facing role covering the following but not extensive list of duties on a daily basis;

The role:
  • To sell all Desjoyaux products and equipment to new customers.
  • To Up-Sell all products and equipment to existing customers.
  • Communicate with all customers via phone and email to qualify leads.
  • Booking in qualified leads for site or display pool visits for our sales manager to attend as per appropriate geographical areas.
  • Creation of all sales quotations.
  • Inputting all the sales information from site visits into quotations to send out to the customer.
  • Contacting both existing and new leads on the CRM system, updating the notes appropriately, meeting notes, diary entries etc.
  • To update the CRM system with all new customer details and changing their status from lead through to customer.
  • Updating the quote and deal details to show the status of the quote.
  • Creation and distribution of all project plans.
  • Taking care of all sales showroom customers, including showing the Display pools and running through all aspects of the equipment and options.
  • Overtime building on your construction and Desjoyaux swimming pool knowledge to be able to attend site meetings at customer’s homes.

This is a customer facing role covering the following but not extensive list of duties on a daily basis;

Call outs for technical repair works:
  • Covers, Motors and Filtration Pumps (Repair, replacement, diagnostics)
  • Fixing Liners back into place
  • Bypass fittings
  • Pipework / Clamp fittings
  • Robots (Diagnosis, repair if possible)
  • Cover part replacements
  • Heat pump issues (Repair, replacement, diagnostics)
  • Treatment systems (Repair, replacement, diagnostics)
  • Delivery and collection of any parts needed on site
Closing appointments:
  • Removal of filtration pump (where applicable)
  • Draining of Heat pump & Fitting heat pump cover
  • Chemical balance of pool with winterisation chemicals
  • Setting filtration timer for pump (where applicable)
  • Removal of PH sensor (If applicable)
  • Turning off mains
  • Removal of filtration bags (if applicable)
  • Fitting of winter cover (if applicable
Opening appointments:
  • Reconnection of Filtration pump
  • Reconnection of Heat pump
  • Reattach heat pump flow and return
  • Reopen Bypass
  • Reinstallation of filters
  • Setup of Clamps and technical chamber
  • Testing of Cover
  • Chemical balance of water
  • Clean of pool
Maintenance appointments:
  • Clean of pool
  • Test and Treat the water, chemical balance of water
  • Check all equipment functions
**TO NOTE: This list isn’t exhaustive and we are flexible in the sense of your role and the skill set that you will bring.

Electrical works:
  • Wiring and connection of Filtration units, Filtration pumps, Heat pumps and Treatment systems
  • Electrical testing and replacement of Systems / Pool Equipment
  • All electrical call outs.
