Pollet Pool Group appointed as UK distributor for BAYROL products
During the recent Piscine show in Lyon, an exclusive agreement was signed between BAYROL Deutschland GmbH and Pollet Pool Group UK (PPG) for the UK and Ireland distribution of BAYROL’s pool and spa water care products and dosing equipment.
An official signing ceremony marked the event and the agreement will come into effect from 1 January 2013.
As part of re-structuring it’s distribution network across Europe, BAYROL decided to close it’s UK sales office and distribute its premium range of products through an established swimming pool equipment distributor instead.
PPG is an operating division of Hampshire based Kennet Water Components Limited, who themselves are a wholly owned subsidiary of the Pollet Water Group – a family owned business based in Belgium. The group, founded in 1969, is made up of over 40 companies, mainly located in Europe and has been engaged in the swimming pool industry since 2004. An important part of the company’s strategy is to offer a high level of customer service and technical support.
Commenting on the agreement, Daniel Ricard (pictured above left), Managing Director of the BAYROL group said: “Our clients will appreciate the synergistic effects offered by signing an agreement with PPG.
“Our customers cannot only purchase our premium range of pool and spa water care products, but also a sophisticated range of pool equipment and accessories at the same time. PPGs philosophy in regard to customer service and technical support matches exactly the expectations of BAYROL and we are therefore confident that our customers will greatly benefit from this co-operation.”
Jacques Pollet (pictured above right), President of Pollet Water Group added: “The inclusion of Europe’s best known brand for pool and spa water care products to the portfolio will greatly enhance PPGs overall offering. PPG is a well funded business and is able to invest in people and infrastructure to bring the business forward. Our commitment is to continue to serve BAYROL’s UK customer base in the best way possible.”
The integration of BAYROL’s UK Business with PPG will commence immediately to ensure a smooth transfer and customers will be informed of the new setup as soon as possible.
