Certikin Joins Maytronics’ 30th Anniversary Celebrations
Certikin recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of one of its longest-standing suppliers - Maytronics, manufacturer of the hugely popular Dolphin robotic cleaner.
Certikin was one of 33 distributors, representing 46 countries, to be invited to the three-day celebrations at the Maytronics factory on an Israeli kibbutz.
Representing Certikin, Sales Director, Richard Way and Production Supervisor, Mark Vanstone (who services Dolphin's at Certikin HQ in Witney) received a warm welcome from Maytronics' CEO Yuval Beeri and VC Sales & Marketing, Eyal Tryber. Following an introduction to the Israeli management team, the guests were given a guided tour of the company’s impressive production site.
One of the highlights of the trip came on the second day when the guests were taken to an observatory point where, as night fell, a tour guide interpreter narrated the history of the bible and the life of the kibbutz. A dinner beside the kibbutz's swimming pool concluded with an awards ceremony during which Mark Vanstone proudly received an award for 24 years of sterling service to Dolphin (image above shows Mark on the right receiving his award).
Richard Way said: "I was delighted that Mark’s hard work has been recognised with this award. He has been integral to the success of Dolphin in the UK and this is well-deserved. It is no coincidence that in Certikin’s 50th anniversary year we are also celebrating this milestone anniversary for Maytronics. The two companies have a strong partnership and we look forward to many more years of collaboration."
On the third day of the trip, guests were invited to choose between a visit to Jerusalem, the Golan Heights and the Sea of Galilee. The celebrations then drew to a close on a Tel Aviv beach with the spectacular release of hundreds of balloons.
