Sundance Pools Feature On Sarah Beeny’s ‘Double Your House For Half The Money’
Milton Keynes business Sundance Pools are delighted to announce their appearance on the popular Channel 4 home-improvement programme last week.
For those unfamiliar with the show, property guru Sarah Beeny helps homeowners in two different locations per episode achieve their property dreams without breaking the bank.
Sundance Pools installed a one-piece fibreglass pool for the Margolis family in Radlett, Hertfordshire in April this year after being referred by friends who had recently had their own Sundance pool installed.
As well as installing a cost-efficient, robust and low-maintenance fibreglass pool, another shrewd investment the family made to their home was roof-mounted solar panels to heat the pool sustainably.
Other improvements made to their home under Sarah Beeny’s expert advice were a large extension, air conditioning, a new driveway and level flooring throughout to facilitate wheelchair access.
Groundwork was completed by local contractors and due to very limited side access the pool was craned over the top of the family’s bungalow using a lightweight long reach crane.
Extensive filming took place on the day of delivery as well as at a previous Sundance pool site near Buckingham, where Sarah Beeny brought Adam and Laura Margolis to give them an idea of the finished product… and to sing the praises of fibreglass pools.
Sundance Director Jeremy West said: "It’s wonderful to see the benefits of fibreglass pools attracting not only the recognition but also the enthusiasm of a property development expert like Sarah Beeny."
Sundance Pools featured on ‘Double Your House For Half The Money’ on Wednesday 27th August, on Channel 4 at 8pm and is available to watch on 4oD.
