New Investment Makes Bosta Stronger, Fitter And Better!
After some speculation over the last two weeks about the future of Netherlands based MegaGroup, which incorporates Bosta here in the UK, a deal was agreed on Friday 20 February with European investment company Nimbus that will see the MegaGroup solidly capitalised and ready to grow its business.
A recent email sent out to Bosta UK’s client base read as follows:
Dear Valued Customer,
You will see from the attached press release that we are now back; stronger, fitter, and better to serve you.
The introduction over the last 18 months of our European Distribution Centre recently culminated in the need for our parent MegaGroup to be refinanced.
During this time, you our loyal customers together with our staff have been able to grow Bosta UK some 9% and strengthen its market position.
With all our systems now fully functioning, our stock and supply chain fully optimised, we are confident in building your business with our reliable and “Never Knowingly Undersold” service.
This month’s introduction of our stock enquiry and ordering webshop, makes us the “First Choice Supplier” in even more of our markets.
Speaking about the recent developments, Conrad Bos, Bosta UK Sales Director said: “Bosta is now stronger fitter and better to serve its customers than ever before.
“The completion of the web shop with real time stock information and same day dispatch from the European distribution Centre, together with the new financing from Nimbus, puts Bosta in the position to significantly grow its UK market share in Pools, Agriculture and Industrial Pipeline Components.
“Despite the additional challenges of implementing the Mega Groups centralised distribution system, Bosta UK achieved significant growth last year. With this now complete we are confident in helping our customers grow to new heights this year.
“Our Heat Pump and PVC Pipe Fittings offerings are market leading with the on line service now available.”
