CPD Seminar: All You Need To Know About Air Source Heat Pumps
On the 25 and 26 April, Certikin International are inviting guests to their Witney headquarters for a one day SPATA training course, which has been designed to provide the industry with important information regarding planning requirements (General Permitted Development Order) for domestic swimming pools using air source heat pumps.

The course is free to attend (for both SPATA and non-SPATA members), but places are limited and booking is essential. A light lunch, plus a tour around Certikin’s facility in Witney is included and the course will attract up to 6 points for Continuing Professional Development (CPD). A certificate of attendance will be issued on successful completion of a multiple choice test paper.

Places are on a first come, first served basis and need to be booked before the close of business on 21 April (tomorrow).

The Programme will be as follows (times may vary slightly):
  • 09.45 Arrival and Registration
  • 10.00 Introduction to the Course
  • 10.05 How does a heat pump work?
  • 10.45 Does my heat pump need planning permission?
  • 11.15 BREAK
  • 11.45 Has the heat pump been tested to prove it conforms to industry standards?
  • 12.00 What is required of me as an installer
  • 12.45 QUESTIONS
  • 13.00 LUNCH
  • 13.30 Refresher and Test
  • 14.00 Product specific training
