SPATEX 2019 Set To Put On Its Greatest Show To Date!
Taking place from Tuesday 29 to Thursday 31 January in the Ericsson Exhibition Hall at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena, next week's SPATEX trade show is set to break all records and will feature the highest number of display swimming pools and spas in its history – an impressive feat given that this is the 23rd edition of the annual event.
The show’s organisers have done some number crunching – how’s this for a showcase:
Bring Your Business Card!

2019 Is All About New!
With 31 new companies making their SPATEX debut at the Ricoh Arena, and many of the more established exhibitors displaying a host of new products, there is a wealth of newness to this year’s Show. New Product Zones help to highlight just some of the new products, but in if it’s new, exhibitors are likely to showcase it at SPATEX 2019. Visitors can also take advantage of SPATEX exclusives – special Show discounted prices, offers and competitions.
New Skills
Visitors can update their skill set using the UK wet leisure industry’s greatest and free educational resource. The very popular ISPE (Institute of Swimming Pool Engineers) Workshops return, featuring 22 topics which run throughout the three days of the Show in Arena 1.
This year, there’s 18 new topics and hands-on Mega-Demos are also returning by popular demand on Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes: 13.00-14.00 Mega Demo Water Testing – Colin Day and Matthew Smith of Lovibond Tintometer. In addition, there is a live demonstration, with commentary, of how to install, service and repair, both filters and pumps for domestic pools on the Tuesday afternoon 16.00-16.45.
Attendance at all ISPE Workshops is rewarded with a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) point on a Certificate of Attendance - a valuable record of the courses you have attended.
A second seminar programme in Arena 2 covers 25 diverse topics. On Tuesday from 10.30-12.05 the STA (Swimming Teachers’ Association) will be holding a morning of talks including one on the Legionella risk for wet leisure operators and a guide to protection.
Arena 2 is given over to the Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group (PWTAG) on Thursday in a series of six seminars which include the planning, design and installation of hot tubs and the training of hot tub operators.

A Touch Of The Orient
All visitors and exhibitors are invited to join the SPATEX team at the oriental themed networking event at 17.00 after the Show closes on Wednesday 30 January in the Ricoh Arena’s Clubhouse Bar. Fancy-dress headgear, free drinks, canapés and music are all supplied and the occasion is a great networking opportunity for all.
