Talk 2 PR business launched
Freelance journalists Karen Witney and Penny Farmer have joined forces to establish a marketing company called Talk 2 PR.
With a wealth of specialist knowledge within the swimming pool industry Karen and Penny aim to provide a cost effective consultancy service for clients looking for a hands on, friendly and targeted approach through positive promotion and effective communication. Both are experienced in working on promotion in the retail sector and also within international distribution and manufacturing businesses.
Penny and Karen believe building strong relationships is the key to understanding the needs of a business and so work closely with their clients.
Said Karen: "Every company whatever its size, needs to maximize its profile, in order to promote sales, whether it’s within the British pool market or directly to that important end user."
With a degree in English Literature and a Postgraduate qualification in Journalism, Penny has huge experience working as a consumer journalist for titles such as Woman, Woman’s Own and newspapers such as the Oxford Times and Mail. Karen has a degree in Business with Marketing and has worked on a number of successful marketing campaigns within the leisure industry and also as a features writer for specialist leisure magazines.
Karen and Penny’s extensive knowledge of the pool industry and its products have enabled them to provide dedicated PR services for many companies over the last two decades. These services include professional copy writing, case studies, PR programmes and campaigns, press release and media liaison.
