Energy efficient Compac's provide a viable option for budget pools
Recognised as the most economical and environmentally-friendly way to heat a swimming pool, Certikin has introduced two low cost heat pump units –the Compac 6 and Compac 8.
With these cost effective units, Certikin hopes to have backed a sure-fire winner.
Offering both strength and reliability, the Compacs are available in 6kW and 8 kW versions. They extract heat from the air to heat the pool water, generating up to 4kW of energy for every 1kW of energy used and make heat pumps a viable option for budget entry swimming pools such as above-ground pools and panel pool builds. They offer minimal maintenance and do not require flues or fuel storage.
Both models are imported from the Far East but are quality-assured with a two year warranty and nationwide service and support by UK heat pump specialists, Calorex.
“In the past, the market has been caught out by inferior imports with questionable approval status and unreliable components,” says Graham Kneale, from Certikin’s heating and ventilation department.
He adds: “The Compacs offer the best of both worlds because they come with the backing of Calorex who have approved the manufacturing process and approved the purpose-built components.”
The Compac units meet all CE regulations and offer simple outdoor installation.
They come with an integrated handle for ease of movement on site and comprehensive fault lights with clear guidance so time can be saved on site should any problems occur.
Full technical specifications are available from Certikin on request.
